Building Hours

Building hours is a colloquial term used in the context of aviation when a person is flying as much as they can to gain proficiency in the act of flying. CFR 61.129 states essentially that a pilot must have a minimum of 250 flight hours to earn their single engine commercial certificate. So to complete this, a pilot will spend a lot of time in the air. I like to spend my time building hours by visiting airports I’ve not been to yet. While I’ve been to Dublin pretty often it has been a while, and I’d forgotten to make my usual longer reservation early enough and only had an hour and a half to fly. So last Sunday I flew to Dublin and back. Attached is a little view outside the plane today (GoPros and zip ties for the win, y’all!) In the next couple days I hope to have the rest of the video edited and a full video ready. I’ll publish it on the post to update it. Thanks, McWheels.
